We are celebrating the 42nd Earth Day here at Roots by offering our customers 15% off one green (and that means the COLOR green) item, on Saturday, April 21. We have some wonderful recycled, reused and repurposed GREEN items for you to choose from. This is a great day to support small, local businesses!

Friday, April 13, closing early

Hey folks! Tomorrow, Friday 13th, we will be closing at 2pm. The sisters are heading off to watch Penny's youngest daughter play tennis for KU. It's the only opportunity this season that we can get to a match that is close to home. Thanks for your understanding. We will be back with (hopefully) a few new things on Saturday, April 14th--regular hours of 10am-4pm. (You know we have to at least TRY to shop along the way!)

Women Making History finale

Maplewood's month long celebration of women owned businesses (Women Making History) comes to a close tomorrow, Sat. 3/31. Roots will be offering 10% off your entire purchase (there are a few exceptions). We will have some light refreshments. Regular hours 10am-4pm. Take a few minutes from your spring activities & come see all the new stuff we've found! Most of the shops in Maplewood will have special offerings, so make Maplewood your destination this Saturday.

Great finds!

Don't you just love the smells and sounds -and the pure happiness that warm weather brings? Hunting and gathering is so much more fun when our hands and feet are warm and dry. And we ARE having fun!
